Colombian Real Estate Agency Leak

More than one terabyte of data containing 5.5 million files has been left exposed, leaking personal information of over 100,000 customers of a Colombian real estate firm, according to cybersecurity company WizCase. « At least 10 gigabytes have leaked out so far, » the online security and risk researcher told Reuters in an interview earlier this month. Some 1 billion records were apparently breached by hackers using stolen credit card details from Verisign’s database as well on more minor business deals without much impact.
Users at another domain name service provider Vodafone found their sensitive financial transactions deleted before they had even created accounts with them.
