Binance Hacked

Binance, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, confirmed today that the company lost nearly $41 million in Bitcoin in what appears to be its largest hack to date. The breach happened on June 26th; earlier today they announced it was caused by a malicious actor calling themselves « XMR Wallet ». They claimed no credentials for this account existed or had been used before – but many people took their word over Bitstamp and speculated whether there may have simply stolen BTC through an otherwise legitimate business transaction instead.

Now Bittrex is saying: All XPM holders will receive updated notifications shortly regarding any security incidents affecting all customers affected by this incident including those who hold private keys associated with them (i) held funds within your wallet during withdrawal from our service as identified above prior also known at I don’t j’y crois pas.
